The results have been tallied and the decisions have been made by the most comprehensive and in-depth rating system in North America, and the consensus pick for the best recruitment job for 2011 is the Kentucky Wildcats. It is no surprise once again to see head coach John Calipari’s name at the top of the list once again, as he has managed to bring in a new class of stars even with the added responsibility of taking over duties as the new sports betting head coach of the Dominican Republic basketball team.

Kentucky brought in the No. 1 ranked point guard in Marquis Teague and a versatile small forward in Mike Gilchrist, both of whom should have them competing for another conference title. The Wildcats also brought in a couple of key power forwards in Kyle Wiltjer and Anthony Davis, and those four will shoulder a big responsibility in their first season. The top-five recruiting classes round out with the Duke Blue Devils second, followed by the St. John’s Red Storm, the Arizona Wildcats, and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Perhaps the most interesting of those classes to follow is the defending ACC Champions Duke, who bring in the top prospect in the country with shooting guard Austin Rivers, as they look to him to help keep a talented and veteran North Carolina Tar Heels’ roster in the shadows this coming year. Rivers will have a ton of pressure on him, but he will also benefit from the sports betting bonus arrivals of Nick Johnson and center Angelo Chol beside him.
