After scaring the conference rival Duke Blue Devils in last year’s ACC season, the North Carolina Tar Heels will return a handful of impact players that should give them the edge this coming sports betting season. While players like Kemba Walker and Kyrie Irving make the jump to the NBA level, the Tar Heels returned several stars from last year’s team, and their impact should make the difference when it is all said and done.
Of the returning players, Harrison Barnes, Tyler Zeller, John Henson, and Kendall Marshall all had significant impacts with the program a year ago, and should be back at it again. A couple of other teams that have return stars that should make them a top contender are Kentucky and Ohio State. The Buckeyes will lean heavily on superstar Jared Sullinger once again after he averaged slightly more than 17 points and 10 rebounds per game, while the Wildcats get forward Terrence Jones and guard Darius Miller back for another year.
